Life is so busy sometimes we overlook what God does for us in things of our lives. Subtle somethings He does to allow us to cross paths with people we don’t know and don’t know we need. Reviewing my life, I find that my friend and I were right all along. Through the years we’ve been friends, we love to look back at things God allowed us to do and people He sent to make sure we knew what we were doing. The help we need is always there when we need it. She even gave me a little magnet I still have that says, “A coincidence is a miracle God provides but prefers not to take credit for.” Think about that.
How many times things just seem to work out for good in our lives as they just fall into place. Or we realize we’re here where we knew we were headed and dreaded the outcome. We see and understand that He was here ahead of us and has it all worked out. My little brother and I talk about looking ahead in life and seeing a “mud puddle.” We do everything we can to avoid it, but suddenly we realize we’re knee deep in “mud.” We also realize this is something God lets us experience to get our attention. Something we have to go through to get out of.
Obviously, we want His attention all the time and forget we have it. He forgives so many things we do, purposely or unintentionally. We ask for forgiveness a lot. But He’s already done that ahead of time. He gave us His Son so we can be saved. He leads us with His Holy Spirit to make good decisions when we listen. God is always good.
Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yes, I will help thee; yes, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
