As a writer from way back, I found writing a blog a way to put words in my head down to get them out of my head. To make room for more words to write and put down. Since Dec. 31, 2011, I have posted on my blog every even numbered day. The theme for the blog is writing, why do it? As the administrator of the blog, I have a file there which is provided to give me analysis of where it reaches after it goes out. A map of the world with countries outlined is fun. If anyone views my blog page, their country will be colored blue -the whole country. Through the years some of my most consistent pageviews come from Italy.
But every now and then Italy leaves me for a period of time. I miss Italy. A crew of pageviewers is great to know about. For the past three weeks Italy has been off my radar on my blog. No sign of Italy. I have been waiting impatiently for Italy to turn up.
Today as I was checking for scripture to include in this devotional, I turned finally to Hebrews for inspiration. The following scriptures not only gave me inspiration for this “musing” it made me laugh. Check out below: Hebrews 13:34. “Salute all of them that have the rule over you and all the saints. THEY OF ITALY SALUTE YOU!”
I called my LB (Little Brother) because he listens to me when I call him to complain about losing Italy and dropping blog numbers. He laughed as I did, and then commiserated with me. I told him I was going to check the blog to see if Italy was back. I said goodbye and he said, “Goodbye. I salute you too!” That’s what brothers and sisters do for each other.
I just checked the blog. Still no Italy! They’re probably feeding all those American tourists!
Hebrews 12:12-14 “Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; and make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Hebrews 13:24 “Salute all them that have the rule over you and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.”
Hebrews 13:25 “Grace be with you all. Amen
