Find a Way: Share the Truth!

by Joanne Wiklund

No matter what the state of our world, we must believe there are still Christians out there spreading the truth of the Gospel all over our world. Our church is designed to be an expression of His love and caring. Where do I fit in that design? Daily I wonder what God wants me to do today? How can I share His truth with the world from where I am? First of all I must always believe: God created me, knows me, cares for me and has a plan for my life. My days are numbered, as are the hairs on my head, in His Book of Life.

As a child, I was taught to love and fear God by my parents. I was taught to share Jesus by loving Christian people who taught me at VBS every summer, and in Sunday School. Growing daily in spiritual maturity has been a goal for a long time. Sometimes I falter, but by His strength, I go on. I am excited by the Vacation Bible School our church had once again. So many children.

Caring young people, as well as all ages, took time from their lives to meet each evening to teach, do crafts, share fun time, and snack with children, all in the name of Jesus, who is the truth we all know and love. The effort is worth it. Introducing children to Jesus can help them face fear. It is very important. Thanks so much for everyone involved.

John 8:12 “Then spake Jesus unto them again, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

John 12:36 “While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be children of the light…”
