Many people wile away time on the Internet with videos, old movies, new movies. When I first saw reels on there, I ignored them. Now if there’s a baby in the photo I’m apt to reel in and watch. I simply love “Fresh Babies”. More particular, I’m caught on “Fresh Babies” laughing. They brighten my day, they make me laugh as well, and exercise my innards. Sometimes the parents are even funnier than the babies, especially the daddies. I’m amazed at the silly things fathers do to get the baby to repeat sweet behavior. They get so engrossed in the baby’s response they seem to forget that someone is watching them act silly. Only the whole world.
If that’s all it takes to make Daddy pay more attention to his new child, that’s good. Most of them do well. Acting silly for some men is just not part of their psyche. They prefer not to lose it. Those kids have a good impact on their fathers.
Our family in general has always loved “Fresh Baby”. I have so many photos of my only sister, generally loving, holding or smooching a Fresh Baby. I have so many photos in my family collection of members and their children. It’s fun to catch them doing ordinary things, concentrating with their tongue in the corner of the mouth, paying perfect attention to the task at hand. Some of that extensive generational group of photos may never see the light of day. My fun thing these days is to go to my phone and its 14,000+ photos and pull out the great ones and text photos to the grandchildren or the greats. They love them. They can’t believe Granny was that small, or Grandpa ever had that much hair!
Psalms 146:8-9 “The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind, the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous: The Lord preserveth the stranger; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
