Spring is such a great time of year. Throw open the windows and doors, put away winter stuff. I just took down my Christmas tree this week. I loved having it there to brighten that part of the room. Last night I missed it. But not for long. I was engrossed in a presentation on QVC of lawn and garden items for sale.
They were hawking the difference between annual and perennial daisies. Those ones with the big blooms and they said the annuals didn’t give as many blooms as the perennial ones. If you are an ardent gardener you’ve probably already been through a garden catalog or two. Such fun. Where shall I put this? Will mine do as well as these? Should I have a ground garden or stick to container gardening?
Choices. We love having choices, don’t we? We make so many choices every day, some without really thinking much about them. Do you ever think back about choices we made as we came to here where we are today? Some one I love told me recently: “I’m not the me I used to be.” I thought about that a lot. We are never the Me I Used to Be, on a daily basis. We grow and change, our minds, our attitudes, our health, our friends, all of those choices make up our lives. So it is as we age. We are not the Me We Used To Be.
Maybe we’re even better! We’ve chosen to follow Him wherever He leads us. The biggest life changing choice of all.
