When I learned that the three adult Sunday School classes held each Sunday morning were being ended June 1 for the summer, I was concerned. I love Sunday School. I was a member of the Bible Buddies class at Rapids City Christian forever. When we moved out to the present location, I continued in class. I taught Junior High Sunday School Class and led a Post High Class with a study of Jeremiah, an excellent way to learn about prayer. I was in the nursery for five years when our kids were littles. The older ones were a joy to mix with.
As I listened to Steve explain it, I thought it was, and is an exciting idea. For Summer Sunday Mornings, the adult classes will all meet at once in the Sanctuary.
Pastor Steve, teacher that he is, I know will have excellent teaching and idea exchanges designed to educate members. We can all refresh and renew as we learn more of God’s love and our responsibilities to Him. Get ready for Summer Sunday Mornings. More will be forthcoming on this exciting new approach to helping members learn of their roles in the family of God.
I will be working as I have been to join those classes at some point. Haven’t given up yet! I just have to stay upright!
