That title used to be an accepted greeting between folks who hadn’t seen each other for awhile. But these days, that’s asking for too much information! The only thing constant is change and that’s coming fast and furious these days.
Make a list of things that changed that you like, and a list of things you would like changed, please. Which list would be longer? Which list would you pay the most attention to? How are your thoughts coming at you these days? Negative or positive? Happy or sad?
If you sort your thoughts, what’s the present stage of emotion coming to the forefront? Are you ready to handle anything? Fearless? We all think we’d like to be fearless. We want to have Hope. An essential to keep you moving, Hope comes when we can pray that way: Hold On, Pray Expectantly. That’s Hope.
What is Fear? False Evidence Appearing Real. What gives us Hope? We have Hope in us, we just have to call it out. Our Hope is called Jesus. We are not alone, and knowing that makes our Hope grow daily. We can share our Hope by looking to Jesus for Hope and Strength, then facing our fear and Do It Afraid. Onward! I’m back to that as my word of the year. I changed it to Persevere last year, but that somehow makes me think I have to work and wait. Onward is where I really hope to go!
Ephesians 4:31-32 “Let all bitterness, and wath, and anger, and clamor and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. And let ye be kind to one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”
Ephesians 5:1-2 “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and given himseld for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.”
